Frasvåfflor

Crisp Swedish waffles, made on a special waffle iron that produces thin, heart-shaped waffles, these have become a Saturday-morning staple.

Combine in a pitcher for easy pouring onto the iron:

500 ml milk

5500 ml water

200 g butter, melted

600 g flour

20 ml baking powder

10 ml vanilla sugar

Blend just until lumps are mostly gone. Follow instructions for baking in waffle iron. Serve with jam and/or powdered sugar.
