Sauté in olive oil until soft:
1 large onion, diced
6-8 cloves of garlic, minced
Add:
250 g ground beef
5 ml cumin
pinch each oregano, basil, thyme and rosemary
As the meat turns mostly brown, add:
1-2 baby zucchini cut in slices and then into quarters
8 mushrooms – sliced
Continue cooking until vegetables are soft, then add:
1 carrot, grated
60-125 ml chopped spinach
250 g canned tomato sauce
250 g canned stewed tomatoes
1 tsp honey or molasses
Serve over hot spaghetti noodles, with grated Parmesan cheese and garlic bread.
